Gomphrena globosa QIS Mix
Gomphrena globosa QIS mix of colours
Note pic is lilac but will be a mix of pink, lilac, purple and white.
Grown for use as a fresh flower or for drying.
Non - pictorial packs for growers. Pack contains the seeds in an innner envelope.
Seed origin: Netherlands , Seed Content : 100 seeds
Sowing Instructions
Gomphrena is a heat loving crop. Sow indoors 6-8 weeks before your last expected frost. Sow onto moist, well-drained seed compost and cover seed with a sprinkling of soil or growing medium. Will need a higher temp of 21 degrees plus to germinate so I would recommend a heat mat or heated area and covering with a tray lid.
Acclimatise and plant out after danger of frost has passed.
As a fresh flower it can last up to two weeks in a vase, but also makes a great flower to dry. There are many great youtube videos on harvesting and drying.
