London Flowers

Last April I was in London for a weekend visit and the flower inspiration was endless! Harrods had a Mini Cooper car in their basement that was beautifully painted with florals. It was interesting to see the selection of plastic or faux flowers on display there too. Next stop was H&M and what drew me in was all the flower stands in their doorways on Oxford Street, that continued inside. And there was so many flowers to choose from including ones that I’ve never seen on sale to the public here in Ireland.

I loved how all the flowers were wrapped in kraft paper and each flower was bunched with a a few stems. Visually it was beautiful and also allowed people with smaller budgets to purchase some stems as well as giving the option for you to buy and put your own mixed bouquet together.

So much beauty! Perennial statice, chyrsanthemums, lilies, alstromeria and statice.

That shade of statice was so beautiful!

Liberty London is my favourite shop in London and at the front doors you will find the most magnificent display of flowers from Wild at Heart. The beautiful displays and the exquisite choice of flowers are a delight to see. I love that you can purchase foxgloves and fritillaria!

The fabric hall is so well known to sewers and I spotted the most perfectly made crochet flowers. Impossible to leave empty handed!

If you are visiting London this year, do stop and enjoy the flowers and if you live in London, what a flower filled city you have to enjoy.

Thank you for reading

Maria
